Doubling of training space

Press Information

With the modernization of our training center in Hamburg, we have expanded our range of training courses and now offer our specialist partners in northern Germany highly practical training opportunities. The location in Hamburg-Groß Borstel is part of our existing office complex and complements our nationwide network of training centers. The training room has been enlarged to 150 m2 and can accommodate up to 22 participants. Thanks to variable seating and mobile training systems, it can be used flexibly. The official opening will take place in January 2026, with the first training courses starting in February 2026.

Expanding expertise, staying on the ball, building on knowledge advantages - continuing education plays a major role, especially in the technical field. To provide our specialist partners with the best possible support, we offer a comprehensive range of training courses at various locations, including Hamburg. The training room there has now been extensively modernized and doubled in size to 150 m2, providing participants with ideal learning conditions.

More equipment for practical training

More devices

Expanded equipment ensures practical training, with a focus on heat pump technology:

  • Air/water heat pump with natural refrigerant R290 (monoblock): This system demonstrates how a monoblock heat pump works in practical use.
  • Split heat pump: Demonstrates the different system principles in practical use.

Both systems are designed as complete systems with buffer storage tanks, radiators (i-Life 2 Slim), and controls, offering optimal training opportunities in installation and hydraulics.

Various split and multi-split systems are available for room air conditioning and system integration, including compact wall-mounted units, ceiling cassettes, and floor-standing chest units, which can be used for both residential and commercial applications. Many of the systems are mounted on trolleys so that training participants can experience, set up, maintain, and test the units at close range.

Practical training on fully functional heat pump systems enables in-depth training in installation and hydraulics.

In addition, larger systems from the City Multi series demonstrate the structure and functionality of VRF systems. These powerful systems show how multiple indoor units can be intelligently controlled and integrated into complex building structures. In addition, various control components and operating units are available, making it easy to learn communication and control technologies. The training center thus offers the ideal conditions for providing practical training to specialist partners in the fields of heat pump technology, air conditioning, and control systems, and for familiarizing them with the latest product innovations from Mitsubishi Electric.

In addition to increased capacity and expanded equipment, participants will also benefit from a range of additional amenities in the future:

  • Modern, light-filled room design: Creates a pleasant working atmosphere.
  • Catering: Provision of food and beverages during training courses.
  • Good accessibility and parking facilities: The location is conveniently situated and offers sufficient parking spaces on site.

"With the new training center, we are strengthening our ties with our specialist partners in the north and creating another modern learning environment that enables high-level continuing education," explains Michael Lechte, Product Marketing Manager at Mitsubishi Electric, Living Environment Systems. Training will begin in early February with the first courses.
