A look back – and a look for others

Christmas 2025

As the year draws to a close, we look back on an eventful 12 months full of exciting projects, shared successes, and real challenges. At the same time, we would like to use the Christmas season to once again set an example in terms of solidarity, social responsibility, and local engagement.

As in previous years, we do not wish to invest money in gifts for our business partners, but instead want to put it to better use: as a donation to a local charitable initiative.

Every Euro counts

As part of our social commitment, the Ratingen food bank is particularly close to our hearts, and we have been supporting it for many years with financial and material donations. This year, we are supporting the aid organization with €10,000.

In addition, the food bank can look forward to receiving 350 chocolate Advent calendars, which we hope will bring a little pre-Christmas joy to people experiencing financial hardship.

The connection between the Ratingen food bank and Mitsubishi Electric has been in place for over ten years now, and we have benefited greatly from it. We are grateful for the support we have received in the past—and also for this year's renewed financial donation and the additional Advent calendars.

The Ratingen Food Bank Association

As part of a nationwide network with over 960 locations, the Ratingen food bank has been regularly supplying more than 500 families with food and everyday necessities since 2008.

To achieve this, 180 citizens of the city are currently volunteering as shop assistants, transport drivers, or association members. This is valuable work that is becoming increasingly important in light of rising food, living, and energy costs.

Want to get involved too?

Without donations, there would be no food bank in Ratingen. Without the food bank in Ratingen, even more people would be in need. The number of people in need is growing steadily, while food donations are declining. That is why reliable partners are indispensable.
