Managing multiple locations in the desktop/app applications is intuitive and simple. In addition, the solution includes numerous tools to increase efficiency and operational security. It is easy to set up with its own network, has a modular structure and is full of benefits.

Your benefits at a glance
AdvantagesMELCloud Commercial comes as a complete package consisting of hardware, 4G antenna with router and software. All you have to do is connect and set it up. Any number of additional devices can be integrated at any time and conveniently configured remotely from your desktop.
Every MELCloud Commercial package comes with Monitor & Control as the basic module. Depending on your requirements, you can book the additional Energy and Service & Maintenance modules at any time. The exact scope of the modules can be found in the Modules section.
Both new and existing systems can be easily connected to MELCloud Commercial in an intuitive step-by-step installation via the desktop monitor. This includes application-oriented settings right down to device level.
This is only available with MELCloud Commercial: the connection is made to your own network in just a few steps via the supplied router with integrated SIM. Completely independent of your LAN or WLAN network - and therefore without complications with IT. The supplied 4G antenna ensures the best signal quality and reliably stable operation.
With MELCloud Commercial, you finally have transparency about the current energy consumption of all systems throughout Germany or Europe. This offers you completely new optimization options based on a real database. For example, you can set specific energy consumption limits per month - and an alarm that indicates when they are exceeded.
The intuitive web interface of MELCloud Commercial gives you a clear overview of all the key functions from your desktop. Without long searches, centrally for heat pumps, air conditioning and ventilation systems from Mitsubishi Electric. For example, in all hotels, business premises or offices in Germany or Europe.
In addition to a wide range of monitoring and optimization options, MELCloud Commercial offers great efficiency potential thanks to the remote service option. This allows you to have operations assessed remotely and benefit from faster response times.
MELCloud Commercial is purchased as a package for 5 years. The Monitor & Control module is included as a basic module, while two additional modules can be booked flexibly. And is all the more worthwhile for monitoring and optimizing existing systems.

With the basic Monitor & Control module, MELCloud Commercial allows you to operate the system remotely via a web interface. Displayed error codes are particularly useful for estimating and planning service work. Other services include application-oriented adjustments of settings down to device level, status queries, monitoring and timer programming of the system.

The Energy add-on module enables central energy monitoring for all running systems - including consumption analysis at different system levels for freely selectable time periods, alarms when set system limits are exceeded and options for system optimization based on the collected real data.
This is how much energy and costs can be saved with MelCloud Energy
Figures say more than a thousand words. That is why we have prepared a concrete calculation example for you below. Its data is based on the measurements of the MELCoud Energy module for a single indoor unit in a hotel room.
Our sample hotel has a total of 96 rooms, all of which are connected to the MELCloud Energy module. The data recorded in this way shows that the average energy consumption in all rooms is 5 kWh per day.
One exception in the same room category is room 308, where the MELCloud Energy module shows that the indoor unit was permanently switched on 24/7 from June 20 to August 10. The setpoint remained unchanged at 19° Celsius over the entire period. During these 52 days, the indoor unit consumed 1057 kWh - this corresponds to around 20 kWh per day.
A significant increase in consumption that would have gone undetected without MELCloud Energy. We have calculated our example of avoidable energy costs with occupancy rates of 50% and 100%. And the result is impressive.

52 days x 5 kWh/day x 0.5 = 130 kWh (50% occupancy)
The additional consumption determined by the MELCloud Energy module for the room examined
compared to the average:
1056.8 kWh - 260 kWh = 797 kWh
1056.8 kWh - 130 kWh = 927 kWh
At a price of 30 ct per kWh , the use of the MELCloud Energy module results in avoidable costs of: 796.8 lWh x 0.3 €/kWh = 239.04 € -> 4.60 € per day926 .8 kWh x 0.3 €/kWh = 278.04 € -> 5.35 € per day
So the calculation works out: Without the MELCloud Energy module, the additional costs in room 308 would have remained undetected and continued to grow. And that in just one room. With MELCloud Energy, you always have an overview of the data from all indoor units and can intervene to optimize them. You only pay a total of 0.55 ct per day, which
means that the costs for the MELCloud Energy module are less than 1 ct per room based on our sample hotel with 96 rooms.

With this additional software module, you can enable your specialist company to use MELCloud Commercial for remote pre-assessment and troubleshooting. It combines a wide range of remote intervention options, including automatic notification in the event of a service call and access to current and historical system data for fault analysis.

In this calculation example, we assume that a service technician costs around €500/day - plus an average of €100 for the journey to and from the site, where he reads out the required status data via the maintenance tool. We also include the costs for the remote recording of technical system data with the MelCloud Service & Maintenance module.
Travel + half a working day to set up the maintenance tool on site: € 250 + € 100 = € 350
Travel + half a working day to collect the maintenance tool after X days/weeks of data recording: €250 + €100 = €350
350 € + 350 € = 700 €
