Five performance indicators for new and existing buildings

With the expansion of the PUZ-WZ series, we now offer a total of five output sizes (5, 6, 8.5, 10, and 12 kW) of our Ecodan air-to-water heat pump in a monoblock design, which can be used to implement tailor-made and future-proof heating solutions in both new and existing buildings.

Even more sustainable

Propane (R290)

– thanks to propane (R290)

Our current 2025/2026 heat pump range and the recently published product information sheet "Monoblock heat pumps with natural refrigerant R290" contain a wealth of information about propane (R290). This natural refrigerant is used in many monoblock versions of Ecodan heat pumps, contributing to the sustainability and future-proofing of these devices. With flow temperatures of up to 75 °C, Ecodan monoblock heat pumps based on R290 are the ideal solution for existing buildings. They confidently and efficiently meet high peak loads for heating and domestic hot water requirements.

As a cascade system, the Ecodan monoblock heat pump with R290 refrigerant is also an ideal solution for larger buildings with higher heating requirements. Up to six outdoor units plus corresponding hydromodules as indoor units can be easily connected together to combine their output. The cascade connection with its MAX COP function from Mitsubishi Electric ensures that each individual heat pump always operates at its optimum output.

Comprehensive training

Training & Service

and versatile service

In addition to efficient devices, a wide range of products, and in-depth technological expertise, we offer our specialist partners a comprehensive training program. Among other things, we provide basic knowledge on the use of R290 (propane) in air/water and air/air applications. It is also possible to obtain a refrigerant certificate that allows the handling of flammable refrigerants in accordance with DIN EN 378 and ISO 22712, which also includes R290.

Comprehensive on-site support from technical advisors in the field (TBA) rounds out our range of services. We offer additional support via our technical hotline at +49 2102 1244-655 or by email at service.ecodan@meg.mee.com.

This comprehensive support reflects our many years of experience and focus on the heat pump sector. Thanks to this focus, which is also a unique selling point in the industry, we are able to offer suitable solutions for current market requirements and for almost every area of application as a technology leader for refrigerant compressors.
